Spider mites

There are over 1200 species of spider mite, a small, often silk-spinning insect that feeds on plants, particularly fruit plants. Measuring a few millimetres, you may not be able to identify them without a magnifying glass. Their plant damage appears as a white speckling on leaves as they remove chlorophyll from the places they’ve eaten.
