Refill Kit for use with Defenders Box Tree Moth Pheromone Traps. Adult box tree moths emerge at least twice a year from caterpillars that have over-wintered in box tree plants. The caterpillars begin foraging and stripping the box tree leaves as the weather warms in early spring, and then pupate to emerge as moths during the summer months. The pheromone-coated glue is resistant to drying out, soaking, and prolonged exposure to UV sunlight.
For best results hang in early Spring and then throughout the growing season.
